Fall 2018 YogaFaith Session:

The fall 2018 YogaFaith session will run from September 16th - December 22nd (no class October 28th or December 2nd).

Class Description:

YogaFaith with Karla Lawrence

Let your yoga practice become your “prayers in motion” on Sunday mornings with YogaFaith facilitator Karla Lawrence.

Yoga in it’s simplest definition means to ‘unite’, or ‘yoke’. YogaFaith is the yoking together or uniting of yoga, meditating on the Word, and worshiping through body movement. It is an expression of praise and thanksgiving towards the Creator.

Students will practice deep intentional, breathing while slowly flowing through a Hatha/Gentle Flow yoga routine. Come and spend time in prayer and meditation to seek God’s guidance and experience moments of stillness to rest in the Lord’s care.

Join us to experience “whole worship” and deepen your connection with the Creator. Classes are beginner-friendly and open to all adults.

About the Instructor

Karla believes that growth starts by accepting ourselves exactly as we are and where we are. Her desire is to help individuals develop holistic connection with themselves and the Creator both on and off the mat. With special emphasis on the breath, alignment, and connection, her gentle and light-hearted guidance will help you develop & personalize your practice.

She became a Registered YogaFaith Trainer (R-YFT) through the Northwest Christian Yoga Academy and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance in November 2017.

While Karla teaches Christ-centered yoga classes, you do not need to be a Christian to benefit. All are welcome!

About YogaFaith Classes

A typical YogaFaith class lasts between 60-90 minutes & includes prayer, meditation, scriptures, movement (i.e. “whole worship” or “Prayers in Motion”), rest, and stillness. Classes may or may not include music. Bring your mat, water, and an open heart. Come prepared to experience a dynamic and living God who wants to spend time with you.
